Description
Lubex Red corrosion inhibitor is a premium quality, organic acid technology (OATS) long life concentrate inhibitor which does not contain Ethylene Glycol. Lubex Red corrosion inhibitor is based on carboxylate technology and is free of silicates, borates, phosphates, nitrates, or amines, making it a NAPS Free product as mandated by certain Government regulations and OEM specifications.
This Inhibitor is suitable for light automotive and heavy-duty diesel engines and marine diesel engines.
Lubex Red Corrosion Inhibitor contains NO Mono Ethylene Glycol and does NOT offer anti-freeze or anti boil performance. It contains a very robust double inhibitor package ensuring ultimate corrosion protection and extended service life with a substantially higher rust and corrosion protection than low priced competitor products.
Lubex Red Corrosion Inhibitor is the ultimate in up-to-date inhibitor technology, protecting all metals found in cooling systems, giving excellent protection against cavitation, corrosion and wet-sleeve liner pitting. It significantly increases the operating life of water pumps and exceeds the corrosion performance levels required to meet Australian Standard AS2108.1-2004 type A and numerous OEM performance specifications and has been independently verified to all relevant ASTM specifications for automotive and heavy-duty diesel applications. Lubex Red Corrosion Inhibitor provides maximum protection against ‘hot spot’ corrosion, common in aluminum cylinder heads.
The service life of Lubex Red Corrosion Inhibitor can be extended to 10 years, 1,250,000 Kms & 24,000 hours in Heavy Diesel applications at the ratio of 7% concentration with filtered water. Automotive applications service life is 8 years, 250,000 Kms at 5% concentration with filtered water. This has obvious environmental advantages because of fewer coolant changes. This product has no deleterious effects on hoses or gaskets at the recommended mixture ratios of 5% to 10% with water. It has an impressive proven record over many years with marine engines, mining plant & equipment, taxi fleets, and large fleet transport companies.
