The Morris Lodexol PG – 150, 220, 320, 460 is a line of completely synthetic gear lubricants made from polyalkylene glycol (PAG) fluids and specialised extreme pressure (EP) additives designed to preserve industrial gear systems at all temperatures. PAG fluids, unlike traditional gear oils, retain an efficient lubricating layer throughout a wide temperature range, from frigid temperatures to heavy thermal loads. PAG Fluids are also naturally lubricious, which reduces friction and lowers operating temperatures. These grades provide good rust and corrosion protection in addition to high load carrying ability, anti-wear performance, and EP characteristics.
“Recommended for use in all sorts of industrial gearboxes, particularly automotive worm gear drives from Kirkstall and Foden, or in situations where high-loading and speed might cause temperatures to exceed the equipment’s design limit. It may also be found in Coles cranes’ hoist derrick and slew gears.
Morris Lodexol PG gear oils should never be combined with other synthetic or mineral-based lubricants.”
